Two years later after their first 64-bit ARM Server SoCs with the 48-core ThunderX, ThunderX2 is introduced as world biger ARM chip with 54 64-bit ARM cores @ up to 3.0 GHz.New cavium chip is 2x to 3x faster than ThunderX 1 and is manifactuerd in 14nm FinFet process.
