Cyanogen is a tech company which originally started as a team who are Android enthusiasts with its leader Steve Kondik. The team, later called CyanogenMod, modified Android operating system.According to Android Police, a source claimed that Cyanogen internally announced that its Seattle headquarters will close by the end of this year.

CM wanted android manufacturers to switch from shipping their own android installations to shipping Cyanogen OS instead. A few smaller manufacturers did but the big ones obviously didn't. Then did`t find it profitable to continue like this.
