More info update on (RTL8710 RTL8711). RTL8710 is running on 83MHz and RTL8711 on 166Mhz.There are 2 high-speed UARTs and 1 standard-speed UART. It seems that there's 1MB ROM, 512KB RAM and 1MB Flash memory.SDIO is available as slave.

It was time ESP8266 to get some similar competitive products on market. Realtek RTL8710 is Wireless Transceiver Module SOC with ARM Cortex M3. Cpu is clocked from 80 to 166 MHz, memory is 48K and is running FreeRTOS. Price on this Iot soc is starting from ~ 2 to 3 usd.

As many of you may already know, SiFive is the first company that will make open source ISA Risc-V SoCs. What will be open and what not ? This was main question that people ask. In this video they answered that they will open as much as they can.PCI-E 3 controllers and some other 3-d party stuff will remain closed.

It's a tiny microcontroller little chip with a lot of power. Small enough to fit into any project, and low cost enough to use without hesitation.The Attiny85 is a fun processor cos it has 8K of flash and 5 I/O pins, including analog inputs and PWM analog outputs.
