Smart Electronics ESP-12E WeMos D1 WiFi uno based ESP8266 arduino compatible now available for 4.5 USD! It seems Iot chip war between ESP and RTL is just started. Battle for tiny iot core chips now will be ARM Cortex-M3 or ESP Tensilica core. Maybe in the end of this year we will see Risc-v based E300 core also available in this market segment.
