Mac-pro M2 Ultra 24 core ARM new Apple desktop

Apple introduced high end, M2 Ultra Mac Pro ! The price difference between the Apple silicon Mac Pro and the Intel model is noticeable. The Apple silicon Mac Pro now starts at $6,999, which is $1,000 more expensive than the Intel model. However, this price increase is justified by several factors. Firstly, the Apple silicon Mac Pro offers more storage, with 1TB compared to the 256GB in the Intel model.
Additionally, the RAM capacity is doubled, with 64GB in the Apple silicon Mac Pro compared to 32GB in the Intel model. Moreover, the Apple silicon Mac Pro includes Afterburner-level performance as a standard feature, whereas it was a $2,000 upgrade on the Intel model. When you consider these improvements, Apple argues that you are actually saving about a thousand dollars. At the higher end, the Mac Pro is significantly cheaper than the most expensive Intel model, being only a quarter of the price. This price difference is mainly due to limited upgrade options. Apart from RAM and storage, the only graphics upgrade available is the M2 Ultra with a 76-core GPU, which comes with an additional cost of $1,000. It's worth mentioning that the Mac Pro can still be equipped with wheels for an extra $400 at the time of purchase or $699 afterward.
The Mac Pro features six open PCI slots, consisting of two x16 slots and four x8 slots. However, only the most advanced users would need to utilize all of them. Apple restricts the use of the Apple silicon Mac Pro to audio and video I/O, networking, and storage cards. Considering that the Mac Pro already comes with a pair of 10Gb Ethernet ports, up to 8TB of storage, and HDMI support for high resolutions, such as 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz, with features like variable refresh rate, HDR, and multichannel audio, the Mac Pro covers most needs.
